Randy and Ellie spent New Year's Eve in Las Vegas in 2006 as part
of a weeklong trip that ended in 2007.
Randy's mom, Lorry, traveled with them on the
Dec 31st to ring in the New Year on the Las
Vegas strip. On Tuesday, Jan 2nd, the three of them
went to Mandalay Bay to see an excellent performance of Mama
Mia.
Friends Tom and
JoEllyn Swanson joined Randy and Ellie, the second half of the week. Tom and
JoEllyn are members at Grace where JoEllyn is also a member of the faculty with
Ellie. On Thursday, Jan 4th, the four of them went to see The
Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. It was Tom and JoEllyn's first
Cirque du Soleil experience.
Randy and Ellie,
have seen three (two of them twice) other Cirque shows, and found them all to
be WONDERFUL. We would highly recommend that you go to see any Cirque
performance, especially the permanent ones in Vegas or Orlando.
